An upcoming special Christmas message from President Nelson was announced Tuesday, in the form of events appearing on Facebook and YouTube scheduled to go live on December 16th at 8am MST.
The description of the Facebook event invitation said: “The challenges many of us have experienced this year have been substantial. Despite these challenges, we always have a reason to hope. On December 16, I would like to share a message about how we can find joy this Christmas season as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. I invite you to please join me for the upcoming premiere.”
As of this writing, 11.3K users have expressed interest in the event, with 5.1K planning to attend virtually. Though we did not hear directly from President Nelson during the First Presidency Christmas Devotional, social media provides a platform for the prophet to speak us during this Christmas season anyway.
