The First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced that the dedicated date of the Pocatello Idaho Temple will be on November 7, 2021. The dedication will take place in three sessions led by President M. Russell Ballard, acting president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, who will preside at the dedication. Dedicatory sessions will be held at 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m.
Open houses for the public will be held beginning on Saturday, September 18, 2021 and will run through Saturday, October 23, except for Sundays, including September 19, 26, October 2–3 (general conference), 10 and 17.
On November 6, 2021, a youth devotional will be held prior to the dedication. Both this devotional and the dedication will be broadcast to all congregations in the Pocatello Idaho Temple District.
