Had forgotten about "Latter Day Laughs," but glad it's back!

I look forward to the humor section in this excellent magazine. I notice in the request for contributions it was not specified that they be "true" stories. I believe most of us know "mostly" true amusing stories, or stories that would be embarrassing to certain individuals if all of the facts were related! I hope you receive a lot of hilarious contributions!

I serve in the Bishopric of our Ward. It is always fun to go to the young men and tell them about my fathers profession. It goes like this. Me: Did I ever tell you what my father did for a profession? YM: Nope Me: He worked for the railroad. Bet you can't guess what he did? YM: Nope Me: He straightened ties (at this point I would grab their tie at the knot and push it around towards one of their shoulders so that it was no longer hanging in the middle) This only works if they do not have a button down collar but it is always fun to see the expression on their faces when I do it.
