In my experience with dreams, the best chance of a clear interpretation is in the ability to resist any judgement of the dream's rationality. Dreams are of a spiritual nature and not based on the language of concious thinking. After awaking, record immediately, in exactness as recieved, without allowing the waking mind to question, censure, be embarrassed or judge. Record emotions felt only within the dream, not any waking reaction. Read after exhausting all memory. Edit for clarity. The second read can be revealing. If not, relax. It will unfold.

I have written down my dreams for years, inconsistently, but usually when I have a nagging questions about my life. My dreams have never failed to help me. If I mull over them, I find secret meanings to the actions and words that are in my dreams. Sometimes I have recurring dreams. If I write them down, and try to find the meaning, when I finally get the ah-ha moment, and the matter is solved, I never have that dream again. If you write down your dreams for a month, when you go back and look over them, you will most surely find at least one thing that has come true as your intuitive self gives you hints about what is happening in your life. I will have to make it a point to look up those books mentioned in this article. Thanks for writing this.

I had a friend that woke up each morning and quickly wrote down his dreams. Finally after months of writing, the only thing that even came close to making sense was, "Tarzan goes to the temple". My dreams are fragments of life, of TV programs I have watched, of people I have never seen, of recent events. I am very doubtful my dreams would give me answers to anything. But that said, I am willing to give it a try!
