The men in the illustration have shoes on, but the women are barefoot. Hmm.

Brother Degn, I absolutely love and delight in how you write -- pure poetry, including choice insights, scriptures, quotes from prophets, and the sheer joy of life! Thank you for lifting us.

wonderful! thank you so much. I needed this as I came home from Church quite "frustrated" last week. It is absolutely true that if we want to be offended we should go to Church and rub up against all the other imperfect Saints. Our echo chambers don't allow for "offense" any more, different opinions, ideas etc. Your essay reminds me of Eugene England's book/essay, "why the Church is as true as the Gospel," but yours is more poetic Tomorrow is Stake Conference and we have just added 2 new wards and a Branch to our stake--lots of good opportunities to practice "the cosmic dance":)

I have so enjoyed this series of essays, written like a mix of Elder Maxwell and Elder Holland with just a pinch of Hugh Nibley and brimming with with hope and testimony.

It was the title. It came into my inbox. I was intrigued, so I brought the essay up and started reading. Interesting that it coincides with a Ward goal to increase joy in our Sacrament Meeting. I love this! I'll go back and catch up on the first four parts. Well done.
