I love this! So well expressed. Reading your words made me feel a bit more curious about the lives of my ancestors. I love how connected you felt after doing a little research. It takes just a few minutes to get to know someone better, whether living or dead.
Though I am not in a time of life to give a whole lot to researching, I look forward to taking some bits of time to connect with the lives and stories of those who have gone before me, and to share them with my children. Thank you for sharing your deep feelings of connection with us.
It also made me think about how one day we will meet these ancestors and be able to thank them for the choices they made to bring us good things or teach us truths.
