I so love nature and miss my garden and yard, but get out into the country as often as possible and enjoy the quiet places in the city, the parks and gardens, temple grounds, birds and butterflies, equine centers, it truly restores my soul.

Sounds like a form of meditation, and I'm smiling that you were basically inspired to do it!

My thought: Moses 6:63. All things have their likeness. All things are created to bear record of me.

I recently retired and had time to spend in my garden. I would often just sit there, feel the breeze on my face, notice the beauty around me, and pray. I felt so close to the spirit while in my garden. It was almost like the troubles of the world were gone for a brief time. I noticed I became sad when it was time to put the garden "to bed" for the winter. Now that spring is here, I feel so blessed at the opportunity to watch my garden come back to life.
