I’ve also found that when asking AI for the information, I don’t learn or retain it. Today I asked for a summary of a book I had read, and when I tried to explain a concept included in the summary a few hours later, I couldn’t remember the example it had just given me.. So it was useless to me. Anything worth learning is worth putting in our own effort. I ask AI questions still, but I’m writing out my own answers and ideas, using AI as a source but not my only source. This article is very relevant. Thank you for the reminder of Elder Bednar’s warning, and this engaging format.
