Can you lead the charge in a lawsuit against the FCC?

Charlie Brown??? Really? When has the government ever done anything well. They have intruded into our lives too much. We must fight this for sure. When 3 people who are appointed, not elected have this much power it's a shame! Abolish the FCC and the IRS!!

My hope is that as you lead the charge first, to fire those bureaucrats, second, demand your colleagues man-up tell the FCC to leave the internet alone, and third, make sure we know the names of any special interests that try to grease your palms or threaten you. Market forces have a delightful way speaking against greedy special interests.

I'm OK with government regulations that keep the monied interests from taking advantage of the little guys like me whether it be the sausage producers in the early 1900's or the big data guys like Google and Netflix in the early 2000's.

I agree. The loss of freedoms, the increasing intrusion of the government into our daily lives, the government control of business and healthcare, and the lack of respect for the Constitution are destroying the United States as we have known it. Thank you for fighting another Constitutional battle.
James RicheyFebruary 27, 2015
I agree. Since what they did is against the law, I hope someone will file a lawsuit so the courts can shoot this down.

Thank you, Senator Lee, for your insightful explanation of this latest move by our government in the gradual suffocation of our liberties. Inch by inch, the circle of liberty gets smaller, doesn't it.

Defund the FCC. Congress has that power.

When the ERA was presented to the States for a vote, the reason why the Amendment did not pass was because it was too vague in demonstrating how it would provide more equality between women and men. Opponents to the Amendment actually demonstrated through practical examples that it would hurt women rather than help them. Senator Lee may have a point in objecting to the passing of the new regulations, but it would help if he were to show why in a more detailed manner, including giving some practical examples of some possible adverse consequences. He also needs to admit that a free rein Internet does not only foster prosperity, but causes great harm to individuals and societies, including through the apology of terrorism. As with the world of medicine, preventive measures may therefore be more effective than curative ones, and this is why new legislation concerning its use is needed. Senator Lee should therefore get more specific in his statements rather than sticking to generalities.

Thank you for this information, Senator Lee. It is so gratifying to know my Senator is standing up for what is right and Constitutional. This President and those who stand with him are a real danger to the freedom of the people in this blessed country. I and many others stand right with you in this fight to restore the rights of the people through the laws of the Constitution. THANK YOU!
