Having served two missions in Las Vegas we know how discouraging it can be at times. The heat, poof dust and lack of interest in the wonderful message we wanted to share made us wonder why we left our loved ones and conveniences of home. Her clear vision of why she is serving a mission is our answer too! Doesn't the world know that a loving Heavenly Father would continue to guide us and wants us to maintain relationships forever? Loved her message and shared it with others.

This is wonderful! I can never understand why anyone would not want to read a book that is a second witness of Jesus Christ as the Son of God. Every once in while someone questions the purpose of life and wants to know the answers, and they are open to learning, thankfully. A wonderful and happy story for the day!

My husband and I recently returned from the Italy Milan mission where it was our great privilege to interact with the wonderful young missionaries serving in Verona. After spending a few times striving to buoy up their discouraged spirits, I can surely say that if only once in their entire mission someone ran after them begging for a Book of Mormon as they sought for the truth, there could be no more glorious and profound answer to their prayers when their faith may have started to falter. Your family may have saved those young missionaries in a moment of great discouragement!

I love this article and have felt the Spirit and am passing it on and sharing with others. I love the Missionary stories as that is how I found the Gospel that I love. God bless Sister Stephensen and all our dear Missionaries.
