Our Lord and Savior taught with simplicity using parables to reach everyone. But I am always so impressed by the vocabulary and command of language when I read the words of those who have come before us....what a beautiful way to defend our disciples and hopefully we will defend them too. Your indictment of modern exposure to death is well justified. As I study the grieving process I realize its impact on modern mental health. One question. Are you referring to “pseudo-Clement” or Barnabas as the elusive witness?
