I need this kind of reading in my lifw

Have you considered seeing an NAET specialist so that eventually you will not have to omit so many foods from your diet? Please read up on this alternative. You are too valuable an ally to lose to a problem that has seen many miracles occur because of NAET. May the Lord bless you, Mr. Beck!

I doubt that Glenn will read this comment, but those of you that may have similar but not the same problem, may benefit from something I just discovered. I'm not a salesman, just found out about it and tried it. Has helped me tremendously with many inflammatory and pain issues I've suffered with over the years. Do yourself a favor and do an internet search on "Earthing", you may just be able to make your life easier and more pain free.

Did anyone notice the recent articles on the Word of Wisdom? Maybe the Lord wants us to get serious about this. He has given us such a simple diet: eat plants, not animals. Glenn asked for prayers, and mine is that he will find the wisdom in the scriptures. We need him!

Struggling with extreme diet changes keep in mind that eating that particular food means pain later may help the temptation. Also focusing on the foods that can be enjoyed and new recipes is a fun adventure. I have found drinking a couple of tablespoons of tart cherry juice concentrate in a kale and fresh frozen fruit smoothie everyday to be very helpful. Osteopathic care may also be helpful. Appreciated this thoughtful article. Best wishes Glenn from one fighting a very similar battle.

Note to Tim: I have known Carolyn Allen for over 30 years and she is the most positive, loving woman I have ever met! I'm sure her thoughts and suggestions were shared from her love of her fellow person and NOT as an attack on him as you said. I have personally been a user of her detox tea for many years and it really does work. I also liked her suggestions (most of them I have already heard from my Doctor of Naturopathy who has helped me to regain my health. Think about it and maybe try some of those suggestions.

While I don't fault the conclusions and suggestions, it did seem like an unnecessarily harsh approach. As I was reading it it felt like an attack on him personally rather than an attempt to help him

Have you tried acupuncture? It can do marvels.

Much of the worlds food today is not what it was 30-40 years ago. Our bodies simply cannot take the amount of the worldly versions of God's creations that we are encouraged to consume. The food pyramids and other "food" guidelines we saw at school are economically and politically driven, sorry to say. What my family and I have discovered is that most of us have food intolerance(s), and we also have individual needs. That is the "sleuth" part of eating - eat what your body tells you to eat. If it wants carrot soup, feed it carrot soup. If it wants a baked yam, feed it a baked yam. Outside of the foods on Glenn's "blacklist" - a whole new world! Enjoy!!

I really getting quite sick and tired of all the silly hype about avoiding sugar. When you get older things continue to go wonky. So be it.
