We went for FHE with our only child at home; a special needs young woman who is super sensitive to most violence. She had heard about it and wanted to go so we did, hesitantly. I'm so glad we did. The spirit was so strong and That trumps everything for her. Obviously at first it was a little more laid back which let the movie work in to the intense part which was so memorable. Don't miss it - It is about faith, not fear in any way.

What an inspiring and uplifting movie! I have seen it three times and can hardly wait for the DVD. It is a breath of fresh air when all that seems to be playing is more Hollywood garbage. Thank you.

Despite knowing the story and remembering how it played out, the movie was intense and gripping, while also being engaging and satisfying. But I wonder if it was very wise of us to take our son that is in high school. He loved the movie, but I don't want him to be too concerned about what he might face as a missionary.

This is a very inspiring movie with really good acting and directing. I took my son who is now serving in the Donetsk Ukraine mission. We had the opportunity to talk with Probst and Tuttle after the premiere showing in Utah and was very interesting to hear their perspective of the movie compared with their experiences. See the movie

I remember that event happening when I was on my mission at the time. I went to a fireside of the two elders and they shared their story with us, it was a small group, and saw pictures of the ordeal that they went through. It was great to see it and that was glad that it became a movie.

This is not just an ordinary movvie. I went back a second time to take my parents. I just bought 10 more tickets to share. When the Book of Mormon musical was playing on Broadway, the mission put more elders on the sidewalks. I think similar efforts with this film would be even more appropriate.

For those of us in the DC area: I spoke to my friend at Cinemark headquarters several days ago and she confirmed that The Saratov Approach will be coming soon to Regal in Fairfax, VA.

Is there any possibility that this film will be shown in South Africa and other countries ? It would be a tremendous asset to missionary work as there are so many old misconceptions about the Church.
How does one go about getting the film on to a circuit here ?
