Members should know about how we got the Book of Mormon but in my opinion they should adopt Royal Skousens theory rather than Mike Ash's. Mikes theory is virtually identical to B H Roberts who thought God would never use bad grammar so the words had to have come from Joseph. But Royal has shown that the so called mistakes are actually evidences that it is an ancient and revealed text. There are many examples of Hebrew and also 16th century usage (which is the language of the BOM) that sound like bad grammar to us, but are not in 16th century or Hebrew usage.
