Every Thursday I work as a volunteer on this project - indexing and data quality. I have almost no ancestors from Maryland - mine came through VA, SC, GA. Someone asked why I volunteer. I feel that this is a way I can payback all those volunteers who worked to digitize the records in VA and other states and countries.

Thank you to the volunteers that make it possible for us to someday be able to view electronically that which we might never have been able to view otherwise.

We just watched a video on temples at the Seattle Temple this past Saturday. The phrase "holy envy" was uttered. I find it applicable in this situation. We currently have our own calling, but what this team is doing is glorious!
