I'm surprised not to see Nie Nie's sister, CJane (Kendrick) not on here! She is my favorite!

Wow!! I was shocked and honored to find my blog listed among Design Mom and the Nie Nie Diaglogues (both of whom I know personally and consider very good friends)! I don't feel like my blog is quite in the same realm as theirs :-) but I still love it just the same. It provides for me a way to record a personal and family history but also a way to share beliefs and life lessons. I also love to record those unique and special moments of motherhood that would probably be long forgotten. Thank you for reading! (Almost Halfway There)

We too feel honored to be listed among such great Mormon women. Blogging about our faith has been a wonderful experience for us that has truly enriched our lives.

I don't read blogs generally. But this is a nice article. I do keep a blog myself, but it's mostly used in lieu of a journal. I have no followers that I know of (other than a family member or 2). I think my daily life isn't as interesting as other Mormon mommies. Or the lack of followers is probably due to my lack of advertising. Anyway, kudos to the bloggers who can actually have a following and spread the Gospel in direct and indirect means.

The first part of this article quoting other writers made me think of this Quote by Pres. Kimball: "Much of the major growth that is coming to the Church in the last days will come because many of the good women of the world (in whom there is often such an inner sense of spirituality) will be drawn to the Church in large numbers. This will happen to the degree that the women of the Church reflect righteousness and articulateness in their lives and to the degree that the women of the Church are seen as distinct and different

I have a sign on my desk that says, "The best thing a man can do for his children is to love their mother". No problem, because it is SO easy to love a Mormon Mommy!
