Dear Sister Taylor, Thank you for this timely article. I too am a Gospel Doctrine teacher. The Spirit whispered to use the cell phone instead of a radio as the introduction. After asking for help from class members I was contemplating what to say when I was prompted to read your article in the Meridian Magazine. It was an answer to prayer. God bless you and the magazine for all you do to enrich our lives.

Wonderful message, but would have liked to have your thoughts on items 1 and 4 to be more clear. I'm definately like the 3rd son who is working and ignoring the call thinking that I can find out who it is later and then deal with it. However, I have learned that in dealing with the Spirit, one has to act on the promptings immediately as they may not come again and I've found out that I've missed out on opportunities that should have been or could have been mine, leaving me to go with other decisions that were made only to find that my progress has been delayed.

Thank you Diane, It seems some of my words got left out in the posting here, but it's a perfect example of using the Gift in order to understand through the Holy Spirit, I hope :)
