Thank you for very novel and useful insights into crisis and understanding and a novel repentant mindset than I, myself would ever have connected. Once again there is a wholeness greater than disparate conditions on this earth.

Yes, we need to use our resources wisely and conservatively, but there is a lot of false information in this article. The earth is not dying. And what everyone keeps calling "Global warming" is a natural swing that has been going on through the entire history of the world. The fires are severe because of the mismanagement of land and the misinformation of those who espouse to be environmentalist, but really do not understand what they are doing.

An article both distressing and encouraging. It provides a lot to think about. I wish those who cause pain and damage in the world could know and embrace the concept that they are hurting the world -- the Earth -- itself emotionally as well as physically (odd as that would sound to them). -- If possible, please share the title of the book where "Spencer" is the protagonist.

Great article, thanks! Our family has been astounded in our daily reading from Alma, Helaman, and Third Nephi. The situation in many parts of our country seems to parallel what was happening in this hemisphere in the years just prior to the Savior appearing to the people in Bountiful. A little scary, but mostly exciting!

This article perfectly sums up my own scattered thoughts on this topic. I have notes scribbled in my scriptures next to the verses about burning at the end of the world that draw a parallel to the secular version of that story - climate change. Someone once said to me, "The best lie is the one that's closest to the truth." And in this case, I think Satan is the best liar. He knows how to use truth to twist us in a different direction, one that will turn us away from God and towards him. The people suffering from "climate despair" are proof of that. Great article!

Thank you for so eloquently telling us the truth. We, as a people, continually are being lied to about climate change and unfortunately some are believing the distorted way of thinking. It saddens me that some feel they are doomed to suicide. I am grateful for President Nelson and his continual smile and encouragement to hang on.

My Bishop suggested we call it Global Warning

Thank you very much for your article. I have never been sure whether or not global warming was a real thing or whether the world has always experienced these weather patterns as told of in the Scriptures. I know that the Earth is a living thing and that she too is dying, but I hadn't realised until in recent years just how much man has been the cause of so much destruction. I am grateful therefore for the knowledge that I have received through this article. Thank you.
