I was a little child in Germany during World War II. We had American occupation for a little while. Afterwards the French took over . We children loved the American soldiers because of their kindness . They always smiled and rewarded us with candy or chewing gum.. I think that was the moment I fell in love with anything American. I have lived in the US for 60 years and still feel that way!!
