Our prayers go this wonderful family. I was teaching when the first missionary passed away at the MTC in the early 1980's. I attended the funeral in Heber, UT. i remember distinctly how the General Authority at the funeral said that there was a reason why this elder passed away without being released as a missionary. He was needed on the "Other side" to teach people there and his mission call extended to the Spirit World". I know that this does not offer comfort when we miss so much those who have gone ahead but I do know that the Lord knows ALL things and that everything that happens can be for our benefit. Some day we will understand, in the meantime, we will make it though together. Like Christ and the Apostles in the storm on the Sea of Galilee, we are all in the boat of life together, bailing like crazy becsue we are sure we will sink. However, the Savior is also in the boat and shat is He doing?? Sleeping....why?... because He knows all will be OK. Our love to you.
