When including questionable language in a movie, please don't forget to mention that in this movie they broke the 3rd commandment multiple times by taking the Lord's name in vain. Just mentioning the "s" or "b" words is not really sufficient.

I agree with Kristen! I really had hoped that your review would include the information about the scenes when Jack Black is discussing his fascination with having male genitalia (the teen who chooses his avatar in the game is female and doesn’t know how to void with male genitalia and has an erection when enjoying an embrace with a male she finds attractive). The central message of the movie is a worthy one but the movie reminds me of the New Era Mormonad with the sundae topped with a cockroach. If you take a young family member be sure you understand that you may be walking into a minefield of questions if you haven’t had “the talk”. Most likely, if they are very young boys, you may have the pleasure of the distasteful wisecracks becoming part of their humor. I’d give it a much lower grade!

Under 'safe for family', don't for get to mention the sexual innuendos and the subtle, underlying reference to being transgender. And last, but not least, saying the male private part and discussing it...if you're doing a review for LDS families, there are many that would like to know these things before seeing it. The detail you go into for the violence pales to the concern that arises from the things mentioned above.

You failed to mention that there were several scenes based around jack blacks characters discovery of his male genitalia. Personally i loved the movie but it did have some off color scenes that make me hesitant to call it family friendly.
