I know how you feel. I was only a RS President for two years, but I loved my counselors and secretary and the sisters in our ward. I also know that had I stayed in that calling I would have languished and not had the spur to move closer to our children. God closing doors and opening windows in order to have joy in the journey. Well put, Joni. Perhaps your comments about being released from callings could be forwarded to Utah Senator Orrin Hatch, he seems to have a hard time understanding the value of change.
