A couple of years ago in our Primary we challenged the children and primary workers to memorise The Living Christ. Some of the older children were able to memorise the whole statement, some just a portion, but even the littlest ones were able to memorise a few passages. It was a very powerful experience for them and for us a primary workers too. One resource that was a tremendous help in this effort was this site which has many helpful study aids for children and adults alike: https://www.bookofmormondiscovery.com/livingchrist.html We also shared an audio recording on CD, but one can be downloaded from lds.org too - https://www.lds.org/ensign/2004/12/the-living-christ-the-testimony-of-the-apostles-the-church-of-jesus-christ-of-latter-day-saints

Thank you for sharing your story! WE also have begun memorizing the Living Christ and appreciate your success. We will continue to try to get our old brains to cooperate.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I began to memorize "The Living Christ" this summer. It is difficult and so far I have a rough (very rough) grasp on the first half. I am hoping to have it memorized by the end of the summer. Whether I succeed perfectly or partially, I have already felt the blessings of having these words in my mind. Several times, during sleepless nights, I've repeated what I've learned and I have felt calmness and assurance.

I have been memorizing it - a wonderful experience - and invited my visiting teachee to join me, and brought her a printed copy of it - but she is dyslexic and can't read and memorize, so I recorded it for her to listen to. I have posted it on my website at latterdayvillage.com if anyone wants an audio version of it https://www.latterdayvillage.com/articles/20170622_1 not sure urls are allowed in comments, if not visit the site and use the contact form and I will send you the link.
