Interestingly, "science, as a self-correcting discipline," may have even gotten dark energy and dark matter wrong. History, even current history, shows us that a smug scientist is a foolish scientist. https://www.space.com/34503-universe-expansion-accelerating-dark-energy.html https://phys.org/news/2016-11-theory-gravity-dark.html

The statement that the heliocentric model is proven fact is erroneous. Sadly even God fearing believers accept science as Biblical truth and ignore what the scriptures say about our earth and universe as well as what our eyes tell us. Multiple bible verses are contrary to the modern view of a globe spinning through space. In pursuit of truth we must consider the agenda of science to explain away God and creation with the Big Bang and evolution which require the heliocentric model to exist. Personally I will accept scripture over science to determine truth. We mustn't allow scientist to replace God's word that describes a very different earth than science would have us believe.
