The deep divisions this 2016 election and candidates caused are clearly reflected in this humor piece. Cartoonist Jon Clark undoubtedly could have just as easily have filled in "Hillary" or "Clinton" into those thought bubbles. And with the actual votes that were cast turning out the way they did--electoral college quirks aside--it shows the so-close-to-even split dividing the country in general. And so, despite the usual "Utah Mormon" proclivities toward the Republican Party, this piece is undoubtedly reflective of LDS voters/communities as well.
