To PJ, that's a tough one. Perhaps waiting for a three day weekend or break? I've had great success with an intense 24-48 hour approach at home and then just your regular routine that now includes frequent potty breaks. I'm sure your day care provider has dealt with this transition before. Hopefully they can offer some helpful tips. Also, my toddlers were all at least 2 and a half. Good luck!

What advice do you have for those parents who do not have the option of devoting a week to toilet training their child because they have to work and the child goes to daycare?

Put wet towels on their pillow with a note, "Hi hon. I know you love clean towels so I didn't think you wanted this on the floor."
