My husband (lifelong Church member) and newly baptised me (Nov 2018) watched it together...we were both in tears several times! A very powerful representation of the best human qualities brought out by faithful adherence to the covenants of the Mormon faith, and the awe and beauty of the South Pacific in landscape, song, and culture.

My wife and I had to drive a bit to see this movie (surprising, as a local theater usually shows LDS oriented movies), and it was hard to find a pair of seats at a respectable distance from the screen. The movie was refreshing and emotionally exhausting, as you went through each trial as portrayed in the movie, and saw the faith of those who endured them. It's not hard to see how each of our lives are similarly tried, and with faith can overcome all and eventually rise victorious. I applaud the inclusion of the dialogue at the end, that explains the lives of the main characters. It was handled in love and respect, even towards those who opposed the faith, but served God in their own ways. I loved the portrayal of Pres. Monson by Russell Dixon... from the opening "referee" scene where it was his eyes and eyebrows that did the "talking" to the goat herding, to the inspiration in the barber's chair.

You knocked it out of the ball park the movie was wonderful and I feel it was as good as the first Other Side of Heaven movie.

A wonderful, up-lifting movie. It had dramatic tension and heart-rending plot-lines that moistened my eyes often and strengthened my faith. Tell your friends to see it!

I saw it at its first showing on Friday morning at 10:45 at the AMC in Times Square. There were ten of us. Words can't describe its power. Please see it. You won't be disappointed.

Such an excellent movie!! Sitting on the edge of seat at times biting my nails and crying at others. This is an action packed movie full of faith and overcoming differences of other faiths! Loved it!!

Saw it last night, the theater was nearly empty... but those there sat though the credits and we spoke to each other as we left... "wasn't it amazing, can you believe it?" Well worth the time and effort to go. We laughed and cried and cried, then laughed some more. Couldn't believe the faith of the Groberg family and helped me to love them without meeting them. You understand immediately why President Monson wanted it made... he played such a big part in the story.

Thanks to recliner seats we were able to see it yesterday at the earliest showing. It took on even greater significance because we’d recently re-viewed the first part/first movie about Elder Grohberg’s mission as a youth! The Spirit was strong from the opening scene! Take lots of Kleenex!!! It’s sweet manna from start to finish!!

I saw it last night in Hillsboro, Oregon. I was so disappointed to see that there were only 5 people attending. I thought the movie was very good--professionally done, excellent acting (all the characters were so believable), satisfying as entertainment, and, of course, the story was just amazing. I loved the real-life photos shown at the end, and the short bio of the family. Excellent movie-making. Thank you to all involved.

It was an amazing, emotional movie.

I saw this movie last night, and I believe it is just what Pres. Monson, Elder Groberg and Mitch Davis envisioned and desired it to be. It is a magnificently filmed and directed motion picture; its story taking place against the backdrop of a gorgeous island nation in the Pacific. It has heart and an ample serving of the Spirit...some of which you'll undoubtedly take home. It is a feast for the eyes, and with its incredible added measure of the almost unbelievable true story, this movie will fill your heart and soul with the faith promoting examples of the incredible lengths some dedicated servants of the Lord will go...to serve Him, and to share His gospel. I left this movie wanting to do, and be better. I couldn't recommend it more! And see it this weekend, so it can be seen by greater numbers, with wider distribution!
