I very much appreciated this article. To those struggling to find a mate and may have unrealistic expectations, I would suggest a video on the LDS church website entitled "Enduring love." It is a beautiful example of what true love should be. When I was single, I was caught up in trying to find the "perfect" mate only to be disappointed time and again - primarily because I was far from perfect myself. Age and experience have taught me that genuine love is not based on the attractiveness of a potential mate or even sharing the same interests. It took me a long time to discover that two people who love the Lord with all their heart, might, mind, and strength may find that is the one thing they have in common that will bind them together.
