SALT LAKE CITY – A devotional for Latino Latter-day Saints and their Spanish-speaking friends and neighbors will be held on Sunday, 18 September 2005, in the Conference Center in Salt Lake City at 7:30 p.m.

The program will commemorate the 175th anniversary of the restoration of the Church and the 200th anniversary of the birth of Joseph Smith, founding prophet of the Church. 

Speakers will include general authorities of the Church. A 365-voice youth choir will provide music celebrating the restoration. The program will also review highlights from the growth of the Church in Latin America.

The devotional is primarily for Spanish-speaking Latter-day Saints, their families, friends and neighbors, but all are welcome to attend. Tickets will be required but are free of charge.

The program will be presented in Spanish with a limited number of headsets available for English and Portuguese translations.

The devotional is a local event and will not be broadcast via satellite or the Internet.
