Fans of seeing classic movies on the big screen will have a chance to get in the holiday spirit this month, as Cinemark Theaters is screening HD-restored prints of Elf, White Christmas, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, and It’s a Wonderful Life. This is, in my opinion, perfect for date night or family night. Christmas Vacation is PG-13 and may not be appropriate for all ages, but the others are family-friendly fun! They’ll be playing around the U.S, for theater locations, please visit: https://www.cinemark.com/Cinemark-Classic-Series
Here’s the schedule:
Elf: Wednesday, November 27th, 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm
White Christmas: Wednesday, December 4th, 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm
Christmas Vacation: Wednesday, December 11th, 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm
It’s a Wonderful Life: Wednesday, December 18th, 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm (as well as encore presentations on Christmas Eve (Tuesday, December 24th), again at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm
For more holiday film ideas, pick up or order a copy of my book 250 Great Movies for Latter-day Families, with reviews and scripture-based discussion guides for loads of movies, including Christmas cinema. It’s available in paperback, Kindle, and Nook.

Nowhere in the article did I recommend National Lampoons. Quite the opposite, I singled it out as the one film on the lineup that may not be appropriate. This article is merely to provide information on what is playing. Meridian readers can make their own decisions on what they will or won't attend.

You're recommending Nat'l Lampoons? Not cool actually.
