Saturday, March 16, 2013 – 7:00 pm – Mormon Orchestra
Man of the finest LDS instrumentalists in the Washington DC area comprise this superb orchestra. Conductor Steve Erickson directs this spring concert with an exceptional performance by Seth Castleton on the cello.
Sunday, March 17, 2013 – 7:00 pm – “Why I Believe” – Guy Hicks
Brother Hicks, President in the Ashburn Virginia Stake, served a mission in Korea in the mid-1970s and came to Washington, DC in 1980 to work for the U. S. Senate. He has served on the House Appropriations Committee staff, and he is currently Senior Vice President for Government Relations at EADS North America.
Saturday, March 23, 2013 – 7:00 pm – Artist Interrupted
Their name describes them perfectly: extremely creative women who temporarily suspended their lives as entertainers and artists to become business people, wives and mothers. They will share their many talents with us.
Saturday, March 30, 2013 – 7:00 pm – Mugemancura siblings
Rachel, age 8 and Peter, age 11, are musical prodigies in violin and piano. Winners of numerous awards and competitions, they were featured last fall on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
