The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has called new mission presidents and companions for 134 missions worldwide. Five couples will be announced later. The new leadership couples will begin their three-year service in July. Their names and assignments are listed below.

Links to the couples’ brief biographies will be added as they are published in the Church News in the coming months. This list can be found anytime at the bottom right of the Newsroom home page under Popular Topics.

The list includes assignments for the six new missions that begin this summer — five in Africa and one in Europe; with the additions, the Church will have 416 total missions. The six are the Cote d’Ivoire Abidjan North, Democratic Republic of the Congo Kananga, Nigeria Aba, Nigeria Abuja, South Africa Pretoria and Romania Bucharest missions.
