Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and Young Men General President Steven J. Lund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will participate in a worldwide broadcast on July 13, 2025, honoring the sacred restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood and commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Young Men organization.

Elder Andersen and President Lund will walk the paths in Harmony, Pennsylvania, where the Aaronic Priesthood was restored to the earth through John the Baptist’s visitation to the Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery, followed by Joseph and Oliver’s baptisms in the Susquehanna River. From this humble beginning, millions across the earth now act in the name of Jesus Christ, blessing families, individuals and the entire Church.

Local leaders may choose to gather young men as ward or stakes to participate in this commemorative event. This pre-recorded broadcast will be available for download from the Gospel Library and on Broadcasts.ChurchofJesusChrist.org beginning on July 2, 2025, to help leaders prepare. This event may take place on Sunday, July 13, or another date as determined by local leadership. Please note that this is an updated date than what was previously announced.
