The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced Monday that it has made the journals of its fourth president available digitally in the Church History Library’s online catalog.
Wilford Woodruff’s journals (call number: MS 1352) contain more than 7,000 pages of recorded history and his personal insight.

“Arguably, Wilford Woodruff is one of the most important journal keepers in church history, especially among those that kept a journal in the 19th century,” Metcalf stated in the release.

His journal is really one of my favorites. I remember reading the portion about Zions camp and comparing it to one of my favorite authors version. reading Woodruff's journal made all the difference in the world. To understand something from the viewpoint of a person who lived it is so much more like being there and experiencing the same spiritual moments. I am so glad to see this available digitally.
