His journal is really one of my favorites. I remember reading the portion about Zions camp and comparing it to one of my favorite authors version. reading Woodruff's journal made all the difference in the world. To understand something from the viewpoint of a person who lived it is so much more like being there and experiencing the same spiritual moments. I am so glad to see this available digitally.
