Thank you so much for this wonderful story & your testimony of following the promptings of the Spirit with or without clear understanding of how it may apply. This is indeed an all too common & crucial aspect of tracting & working with investigators. I wanted you to know that we are referencing your story & some of the attached comments in our Ward Mission Correlation meeting this week.

What many don't understand coming from an Anti Mormom background . That those people are seeking thats why I and others have put up shuch a fight . Don't give up on us anti-mormoms .When we convert we will be some of your stongest adovacates for the church.Joseph Smith testomony is all inportant. There are many un-truth being told now a days Be sure you find out what sourse they are quoteing evil things from. Most likely you will find They are one in it to make money from saying the lie or twisting it. Youll find there sourse has been excumucated from the LDS faith for adultry and shuch so there strikeing out against the church. You will also find if you tell the investgator to check there source . As to the background of that person really get in and dig What schools did they attend how many times married Etc You find out what type of person they are and if there believeable or not. When I started checking my sources about the evil being said . I found alot of intresting things about the people who said it. My elders did not fight but told me to put it to the test and check my sources I did and found out what my sourse said about the church wasn't true. I have now been in the church 41 years .I love the Anti and I ask them to check there source and put it to the test. My favorite books for this was the We Lie In Wait To Decieve, Gives you a whole education on the anti mormons who spout lies and shows you where to find the proof

In 1973 I was an American exchange student in Danmark. One day after gymansium, I went to a very small library in Varde to study. I saw two Mormon missionaries and immediately began telling them every hateful thing I could think of about the church. Elder Lofgren and Elder Williams listened quietly. When I was finally done, they bore a powerful testimony of the Book of Mormon as a witness of Christ. They asked if I would read it. I totally surprised myself by saying yes. And I did. My life was changed completely. I will always be grateful to those two elders and their strong testimony of the church.

Mange tak for your inspiring story. Many years ago I attended the Priorvej Kirke where the Copenhagen temple now stands while serving in Indreby. What a great blessing to have a temple there. The Danes are a wonderful people who have contributed much to the Lord's kingdom in these latter days. May you continue to have such marvelous experiences throughout your life.

Goes to show how there is always more to learn, always more faith and testimony building to do. I love that part of the story, how you were prompted so clearly and you obeyed with trust even though you thought what you were doing was somewhat pointless.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful story of faith, testimony, kindness and redemption. This will be our FHE lesson tonight, with my soon to be missionary son.

I, too, searched for a church and a faith for myself as a young person. Like Joseph Smith I was quite young. I believed in God and Jesus, the prophets, the Bible, the crucifixion and resurrection. I was familiar with different concepts surrounding baptism, tithing, the commandments, right and wrong.I wondered about the Holy Ghost, where we come from, where we go, prayer. I was blessed in that my parents were basic believers and allowed me to get myself to different churches, with a couple of exclusions from Mother. Where I differed from Joseph is that I was searching for myself, not mankind, and I didn't think to pray about the process. I left out a vital component. The missionaries found me while tracting. The discussions ignited my mind, heart and soul. I am blessed that like the Smiths, my mother allowed my baptism. I am alive this very day because of our faith and the blessings restored to us all through the boy, Joseph Smith.

Saw the picture of the Copenhagen temple and had to click on it. Pleasantly surprised when I recognized the person writing the article. Thank you for sharing your amazing experience. We were so blessed to be serving the Lord in Danmark at this time. Those were great times!
