What a delightful article!! Every Christmas we have a "Community Christmas Choir" made up of many members of different denominations throughout our area. The Christmas Celebration is held at the Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) building. It is a wonderful opportunity for people from many different Faiths to come together to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. An opportunity for the communities to come into one of our Church meeting houses, where there are many pictures of Christ on the walls. Yes, we are Christians, and yes, we worship Jesus Christ with our friends and neighbors.

Good for you for examining how you past experience has influenced your approach to others and learning from it. Nice post!

Interesting. So instead of being judged, you judged them in how you thought that they would respond to you. Surprise, they were able to show Christ-like love and acceptance. If only more Mormons were able to do the same.

I enjoyed reading this article on my sister's experience visiting us. I have had very similar experiences at many churches here in the area. The LDS missionaries have been very kind and helpful to us here in Lumberton as we moved in, and one missionary knew Janiel's kids from school, and I went to high school with his father! It is nice meeting true Christian people anywhere in the world.
