I never heard of him until yesterday, and today I find this article. I face a similar crisis with my wife of 48 years being in the final stages of Alzheimer’s. I understand what he means about constructing a new person. I’ve already transformed into a new person as a result of my wife’s illness, and when she passes through the veil, I’ll have to do it a second time. As he learned, life must go on, and I will too.

Thanks for this article. Had no idea Rush's drummer was such a talent. And admire his strength to overcome tragedy. I was really hoping to read that he became a church member. Bet he is now.
