We must never forget that there is the Families Are Together Forever. Is there not a very good probability that Job and his children are together.

Robert says that Job never recovered his 7 sons and 3 daughters. If his was a forever family, and we have to assume they were, he never LOST them in the eternities. That's why he got back double everything EXCEPT his children, since he never truly lost them.
