This is perfect. I've been struggling with feeling loved, and have been praying and studying Christ's love. For Mother's Day I decided to avoid the ridiculous disappointment I inexplicably feel and write a "10 Things I love about being your mom" to each of my kids, and "10 things I love about being the mom to (husbands) kids." It was the best Mother's Day yet because I drew the focus away from being loved to loving. And isn't that what Christlike love is all about? So thank you for reminding me that true, pure love is Christlike service.
