Tn the Early '80s, my wife took a short trip to Yemen, and rather than stay in the biggest cities, we went inland to visit with the local villagers. We had a great time! We went a little inwardly, in the easterly direction. We came upon a little township. headed for the bazzaar: where everybody met of course! We bought some kumin: the quantity based against the weight of a padlock the woman was handling. I saw a cliff face that was riddled with caves, which turned out to be the local graveyard! A little further eastward, we were told was another graveyard for foreigners. It's name was Nahom. We read in 1 Nephi 16:34: And it came to pass that Ishmai died, and was bruied in the place which was called Nahom. And it came to pass that the daughters if Shmael did mourn exceedingly, because of the loss of their father... The English translation from the Arabic is Consolation> (Arabic is the language of Yemen) There is a keeper, or caretaker, at Nahom who states that he is caring for it for the Tribe of afrm!! Philologists geographers and archeologists in the well have declared that there ta no such place! I know there is because I have been there!!!
