Thank you for this insightful article. I will look forward to more articles regarding Joseph Smith's life, so that I will truly be able to "stand by Joseph more faithfully'

I remember the first time I heard the Joseph Smith story. I was 22 years old and stationed in the Air Force in Hawaii. It was like a bolt of lightening went through me. I knew intuitively, intellectually and spiritually it was true. That knowledge has never left me. I have struggled at times with historical data, with my own shortcomings and faults but that knowledge has never left me. That may not be a valid argument for the intellectuals but it has been more than enough for me.

The fact that Satan still "rages" in the hearts of men and stirs them up against that which is good only confirms my testimony of Joseph Smith and the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day-saints. Satan's efforts are very transparent to those who have a witness of the divinity of the work of the Prophet, Joseph Smith.
