I cannot believe you see no problem with mail in voting. Requesting an absentee ballot is not the same as ballots mailed out to everyone. I have lived in 4 states. Do I get to vote 4 times? Only cheaters want ballots mailed to everyone.

You are so wrong. Please read the following article, written by a person who has actually done voter fraud for years. Copy and past this link into your address bar: https://nypost.com/2020/08/29/political-insider-explains-voter-fraud-with-mail-in-ballots/?utm_source=email_sitebuttons&utm_medium=site%20buttons&utm_campaign=site%20buttons

As comments by Ziegler and Miller point out you if you start with the wrong hypothesis you will arrive at an irrelevant conclusion. Absentee mail-in ballots must be requested by a legitimate voter with proof of residence and a verifiable signature. Mail-in ballots the Democrats want are sent to an address where "once upon a time" a registered voter may have resided, who now, may have moved, not voted in years, is incapacitated or dead. Anyone receiving that ballot, or as many ballots as are delivered to that address, can vote as many times their supply of ballots allow. This opens the way for voter fraud on a scale we have not seen before. Just look at the mail-in failers in 2020 Primaries in New York, New Jersey, Michigan, etc.

The difference between your research and what the Democrats want now is sending ballots to every registered voter on voter rolls that are corrupted and haven't been updated for years. This leaves voter fraud real potential to affect election results.

From my POV, the study looked at the wrong thing. It seems to me that letting people vote in a convenient manner would benefit all parties is fairly obvious, and not the problem most critics are pointing out. The potential for massive fraud, which has gradually shown itself to be a reality most had never considered possible, is a much greater threat to our electoral system. While this has been revealed mostly in local elections (mis-counted or uncounted votes, nefarious behavior by election officials and others, inaccurate voter rolls, etc.), the potential for fraudulent activity in national elections is there, and I don't see much of an effort to remedy this situation.

Your article does not mention the instances of voter fraud....where there are more votes cast than people living in the area. Voting in person will cut down on voter fraud. Your reasoning that mail-in voting does not favor one party or the other is not relevant.
