In the late 80's when as a family we were having some financial difficulties, our 2nd child was in junior high. She badly needed to get contacts for her failing eyesight. She was in a large Jr. High in Utah at the time. The first day she went to school wearing the contacts she came out to the car as I picked her up, crying. She had lost one of the contacts. She knew this would be hard for us to replace as we did not have insurance on the contacts. I told her that Heavenly Father would help us if we prayed. We parked the car and went back into the school close to her locker. How in the world would I find a tiny little contact that had been walked over by hundreds of students? Having faith that the Lord would answer my heartfelt prayer, I proceeded to get down on my hands and knees in front of her locker and press my face to the tiled floor. As I scanned the floor, I saw it ! It was undamaged and a wonderful testimony of the power of prayer.
