I am retired, having taught for many years. I now do some consulting work. I often recommend the book, “1, 2, 3 Magic. It is a complete program and it works like magic. I recommended it to a teacher with an incorrigible student, also giving more advanced techniques she could try if needed. I went back to visit the school again three months later. She greeted me with a bit of sadness. She could not report that she had used the advanced techniques. The psychologist who had invited me, and I started to laugh as she explained what had gone on. The 1,2,3 Magic program had worked. The child no longer escalated to the point where he was a danger to others, indeed, he had become a model 4 year old student. There are other programs out there that are good. Two most important things, work in unity and in love.
