This is, as they say, "BREAKING NEWS"! Five days ago India announced that there has been a LEPROSY VACCINATION approved and they will be delivering it to a number of leprosy districts in India. This is a game changer!! The researcher achieving this breakthrough is Prof. Talwar, who has been working on this vaccination for 36 years. I was privileged to meet with him just a few days before the news broke, as Prof. Talwar is the brother-in-law of a Rising Star Outreach Board member. Prof. Talwar is committed to helping Rising Star Outreach get the vaccination provided to our leprosy colonies. This will be a huge blessing. In our Bihar school alone, we had 5 children diagnosed with active leprosy just this month. Just imagine how many children in the colonies are being missed! Becky Douglas
