I'm very happy the Church was able to obtain the printer's manuscript but, I have to wonder, what would have been too much to pay. Was this excessive? I don't know. Does it even matter? The Community of Christ knows how much we value our history and it is evident that they used this to their advantage. I’m just glad that they had it and were willing to part with it.
