I know we love to celebrate our 'famous Mormons' but in all honesty I don't get how Mr. Brightside received any acclaim. It's like so many other undistinguished, untuneful modern pieces. As for the video, it's got too many soft porn elements to fit my definition of worthy of watching. I'd like to challenge our musically gifted LDS young 'uns (I've been watching the Beverley Hillbillies pilot) to write stuff the world can't stop singing but with a positive message and a video that keeps the underwear "under," where it belongs.
