Thank You Joni especially for quoting elder Bednar there. To me that is the ticket to a more spiritually clean and prepared church of Christ. It is a mourning in each saint but joyful acceptance of Christ's sacrifice. An understanding that none of us are acceptable without Him and perhaps a constant feeling of surprise when our heap of latter-day sins are washed away so often. (I am always disappointed when I hear a LDS say they are one of the ninety and nine who didn't go astray. Then they miss out on the joy and feeling of the Master putting them up on his shoulders and wiping his forehead with relief.)
