For those of us with hearing problems, it would be helpful if you made it possible to print out this list.

Joni, Try WEN for your hair. It will make a huge difference. Thank you for a nice disposal lesson.

What is the sense of having a disposal when there is such a long list of things you can't put in it? Would be nice to have a list of things you CAN put down it. I find it easier to put a plastic grocery bag lined with newspaper into the sink and put ALL my foodstuffs in it and toss it. When tied up, it won't smell up your trash can so you don't have to take it out to the dumpster immediately.

First the good guys: Citrus rinds, vinegar and soda (mixed together to foam and clean it), and most soft foods. Now the bad guys: onions, celery, asparagus, artichokes, potato skins, corn husks-- any fibrous veggies. Also egg shells, pasta, rice, grounds, grease, popcorn kernels, banana peels, stones or pits, and bones.

There was a long list of what not to put down the disposal, too long to remember everything. Could you please add the list of these items as well as a list of the good things to do for your garbage disposal that you mentioned. This would be a great print out article to keep. Thank you!
